18TH CENTURY MASSIVE CARVED POWDER HORN, 18" overall, near 4" wooden plug, wooden stopper. Initials NA carved into the horn as well as NAIMOND in period block carving. "Naimond" was probably his first name. Leather strap attached. Irregular 18th century iron nails attached the plug to the horn itself. Unusually large and a relatively inexpensive carved 18th century horn with a name carved into it..................$450.00

18TH CENTURY POWDERHORN, 13" overall. Carved tip with double rings. Fairly rounded wooden plug. Lovely greenish-tan patina with horn being tin enough to see through. Very fine...................................$185.00

18TH CENTURY IRON TASTING SPOON, 16" in length, 3" shallow bowl. Rat tail end to handle. Used for tasting liquids such as soup. ex-NY Collection.................$65.00

POPULAR PAUL REVERE PIERCED LANTERN, 5" X 14" overall with hanging ring. 18th - early 19th century pierced tin lantern. See Neumann Page 77, fig. 309. These are completely closed with a pierced tin-iron side to allow light out but topping a rush of air to extinguish the candle. Getting difficult to find. Excellent condition......................$295.00
